Triple S Carpet Care Products Receive CRI Seal of Approval

Triple S is pleased to announce that SSSBio-Enzymatic Spotter Multi-Enzyme Spotter, Deodorant & Protectant, SSS Carpet Rinse Plus Rinse and Neutralizer, SSS N-Capsul-8 Low Moisture Carpet Cleaner, and SSS Fiber All Concentrated Extraction Cleaner have received the Seal of Approval from The Carpet and Rug Institute.

Each of these products has passed a series of stringent tests performed by an independent laboratory in order to make the list of cleaning solutions. The tests for spot removers, pre-sprays and in-tank solutions include protocols for efficacy (removing stains), resoiling (whether the product attracts soil at an accelerated rate), pH (excessively acid or alkaline products can affect dyes and fibers), optical brighteners (can adversely affect color, appearance and performance) and colorfastness to light (residues on pile yarn can accelerate color change).

This CRI Seal of Approval helps facility managers, janitorial staff and professional carpet cleaners identify superior cleaning products, including spot removers, pre-spray/in-tank solutions deep cleaning extractors/systems and vacuums.

	SSS Bio-Enzymatic Spotter Multi-Enzyme Spotter, Deodorant & Protectant 1 qt., 12/cs, #48018 A ready-to-use, multi-enzyme carpet spotter, odor eliminator and protector. This unique formula utilizes a broad-spectrum odor counteractant that chemically neutralizes the malodor, and a blend of enzymes that eliminate the odor at the source.
	SSS Carpet Rinse Plus Rinse and Neutralizer 1 gal., 4/cs, #48003 Softens, conditions, and brightens carpet following extraction, bonnet cleaning or shampooing. Use with SSS PreTreat Plus or SSS Bio-Active Prespray for an effective two-step cleaning system. Mild acid formula neutralizes pH to prevent browning.
	SSS Fiber All Concentrated Extraction Cleaner 1 gal., 4/cs, #48070 Fast acting, heavy duty cleaner for use with hot or cold water extractors. Recommended for use on all types of carpeting and upholstery, including stain resistant.
	SSS N-Capsul-8, Low Moisture Carpet Cleaner 1 gal., 4/cs, #48072 N-CAPSUL-8 uses advanced cleaning technology to clean carpets by surrounding and encapsulating soil. After the soil dries the crystals containing the soil are easily vacuumed. The low moisture chemistry eliminates the need for rinsing and minimizes carpet down time. Contains no toxic solvents or other harmful chemicals that may cause indoor air quality (IAQ) issues. Special additives create an anti-resoiling barrier that helps keep carpets cleaner, longer. Specifically formulated for all fibers. Will not clog valves or jets on spray applicators or extraction machines. Recommended for all colorfast carpeting. This product is formulated using a pleasant scent.

Gem Supply Company Tour

On Friday, April 8, 2011, Dutch and Paul Owens of Gem Supply hosted a group of Triple S Members and HQ Staff to their facility for a tour.

Members toured the warehouse, the unique drive-in service area, and large showroom (with shelves stocked with Triple S products!). Members commented that it was a great way to see how another Member ran their business and ask questions.
